Ágora announces that Fábio Zambeli will be coming on board as partner and VP of Institutional Relations and Public Affairs. Working jointly with Everton Schultz, the head of Ágora and Untold_’s Director of Strategic Communications, Zambeli will be overseeing the business unit and working to strengthen Ágora’s presence in political intelligence and current affairs analysis, the relationship between government and civil society organizations, and comprehensive advocacy campaigns, among other segments.

A journalist with a graduate degree in public communication, Zambeli has 31 years of experience covering politics at media outlets and news agencies in São Paulo and Brasilia.

Besides serving as a reporter, reporting chief, columnist and editor at the paper Folha de São Paulo, Zambeli served as the publishing coordinator at Associação Paulista de Jornais and director of the public accounts and governmental relations at FSB Comunicação.

In recent years, Zambeli led the analysis team of the JOTA platform, which specializes in tracking the three branches of government, institutions from the sector and the financial market.

During Brazil’s recent presidential election and transition, he was listed as one of the country’s most influential journalists on social media.
