Miguel is a renowned strategist in Public Affairs and Strategic Communication with twenty years’ professional experience in different markets in Latin America. He has led projects in Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Miami for companies in the pharmaceutical, infrastructure, financial and consumer goods industries.
He previously worked at Burson-Marsteller Colombia, where he was General Manager and leader of the Healthcare Practice in Latin America. At Burson-Marsteller, he also worked as Country Manager in Puerto Rico and an Associate in Miami. He has led the Spanish firm Llorente & Cuenca in Colombia. He was chosen by the magazine La Nota Económica (Colombia) as one of the 500 most important managers in Colombia.
He has a degree in Social Communication (Universidad Externado de Colombia) and an MBA (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and the University of the State of Arizona, Phoenix, United States). He is a postgraduate professor at the Universidad de la Sabana (Chia, Colombia) and the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellín, Colombia) in subjects such as Managing Interest Groups, Strategic Communication Planning, Crisis Management and holds a Seminar in Corporate Reputation.
